Tracey Price is a highly experienced clinician and educator and a pioneer in the industry with over 30 years experience. Being one of the first clinics in NZ to offer some of the most advanced technologies has kept her in the forefront along with her wealth of knowledge and decades of industry experience. She has teamed up with the best in the business with educators from Australia, giving the opportunity to gain internationally recognised qualifications. She is also excited to be able to offer students a chance to be part of the HB Laser Skin Clinics team, offering on-going business support and education, and sharing their very successful business model.
Tracey's husband Brendan is a specialist tattoo removal technician, concentrating solely on tattoo removal. He is a seasoned professional, having been in the industry for 8 years, and having done thousands of treatments, working within our clinics and with the New Zealand corrections system facilities throughout the North Island.
Mel, Tracey and Brendan's daughter has been specialising in laser hair removal for 3 years since leaving high school. She is also currently studying nursing at EIT and is in her 2nd year. Mel plans to further her career in the aesthetics industry. Mel is passionate about helping people and although fairly new in the industry she has gained a lot of experience by being a specialist hair removal technician.
After receiving multiple inquiries to offer training, the couple realised that there was a need for more advanced, high quality, post graduate training, and professional development for advanced skin treatments, lasers and other light based therapies.

Please note: You must complete the level 4 laser theory certification (ASNZS 4173:2018) before the practical training day. As well as the laser hair removal theory course.
The day starts with a brief overview of laser and IPL theory and the consultation process.
This will be followed by a full day of training - please contact us if you are unable to get a model to attend.
CERTIFICATION:
You will gain certification to show you have undertaken professional development and training with HB Laser & Skin training Institute with advanced leading and independent educators

As well as that, it takes you through bite-sized lessons in how to perform laser tattoo removal and includes which machine to use and how they work, how to choose the ideal settings, planning a tattoo removal treatment plan, client care throughout their journey and avoiding the potential pitfalls of laser tattoo removal such as unwanted outcomes or adverse side effects.
It contains the foundational knowledge you need before you fire a laser regardless of where you work, for when you need a User Licence (Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania only) and for your insurance policy and peace of mind.
